Poll: Osama Bin Laden’s death, who gets the credit?

Okay.  So Osama Bin Laden is dead.  There’s a lot of chest thumping going on about who can take credit for this decades long fiasco.

If you recall, Bill Clinton’s administration was seeking him in the nineties.  When 9/11 happened, George W. Bush created an all out man hunt for him.  And just last week, under Barack Obama, the elusive Osama Bin Laden has been assassinated.

Come on people, tell me.  Who has the most right to thump their chests.  Or maybe you have a better idea.  Let’s hear it!

i must say as a canadian, my hat goes off to obama for doing what the three morons before him could never do. be a great president. most ppl are Bush fans, but did he clean up the wall street mess, no he didnt. did he find bin laden, no he didnt. obama rules!

  2. Hey Lynn
It should be George Bush as well as Obama. Bush has stayed true to his word and has stayed out of the limelight.

He has followed the unwritten rules for past presidents not to commment on the current president.

Too bad the content of Obama’s character can’t seem to honor the other unwritten rule is that you don’t critique past presidents while in office as president.

  3. Yes, I agree with you there. It’s rather tasteless for Obama to be gloating like he is. Many are worked up over Bush not taking Obama up on his offer to make an appearance at ground zero. Many are assuming that Bush is throwing a temper tantrum because he has to share the light with Obama. We could wonder forever on what Bush’s reason was. And while I don’t like him as a person, I don’t believe he’s that arrogant to not accept the “sharing” of the light with Obama. I don’t know.

  4. Bush is not throwing a temper tantrum, just being true to his word that he is not off the stage of the publica arema and will not comment on the current president.

  5. Bush set it up so that Obama could be found and Obama has used the evidence that he said was illegal.

Obama did not find Bin Laden, our intelligence community did, Obama just gave the order to kill him.

The Wall Street was not what caused our problems. It was the democrats saying that everyone should own a home and FORCING our government and the banks to give mortgages to unqualified people. This caused others to jump in and invest in the booming real estate market and then it all came down like a house of cards when the unqualified people could not pay their mortgage payments.

  6. John,
Yes, what do you say to writing about what happened in 2008? I have a story about the housing fiasco I’d like to share if you write the story. Freddie and Fanny should be tried. They, almost, single-handedly, crushed our economy.

  7. Hey Lynn
We could write the story together but a lot of people still don’t understand how our economy came to a crashing halt as evidenced by our visitor.

The dems should also be held accountable because they forced it through against republican objections just like Obamacare that now has given over a thousand exemptions to it.
